RIP Angus R Grant – Shooglenifty

We note with great sorrow the untimely death of Angus R Grant, fiddler with the band Shooglenifty.  Angus was the son of legendary Lochaber left-handed fiddler Aonghas Grant and he was very largely responsible for making the fiddle a “cool” instrument for young folk to play at a time when fiddling, like bagpiping a few years back, was not what trendy young things wanted to do.
