National Mod

After months of practice the day finally dawned. Saturday,10th October saw six members of the workshop head off to the Corran Halls, Oban to take part in the National Mod. The sun was shining and the town was alive with music

The competition, to play a slow air, march, strathspey and a reel. We held our heads high, managed to smile and gave it our best shot. It was altogether a memorable and almost enjoyable experience. We enjoyed the buzz of the Corran Halls and listening to the other competitors. We came third in the competition. Well done! Lochgoilhead Fiddle Workshop.
