First of many!

Today, Saturday 12th January, a dozen or so members had the first Get Together of the workshop. No one was sure how it would go, or indeed, what form it would take but with a little imagination it went!

Warm ups to begin with. Can you play your name on the fiddle? Arpegios were next followed by Maureen’s gentle exercises!

Then it was onto some tunes. ‘Crodh Chaillein’ (Coiln’s Cattle) from Teresa and Maggie and ‘Willafjord’ with harmony from Tat. We also managed some Robert Burn’s tunes; quite appropriate for the time of year. See the list in Members’ Information page.

I think, without doubt, we all enjoyed the experience and are looking forward to the next one.

If you didn’t manage to today’s get together you must come to our next one. Sunday, 24th February, 12 – 3pm, Strachur Hall. See you there!
