On Sunday 13th July 2014 the Queen’s Baton, symbol of the Commonwealth Games, will be travelling through Argyll and Bute. Several communities have been asked to ‘host’ the baton on it’s journey through the county and onwards over the River Clyde and Strachur is one of those lucky communities! To celebrate this momentous occasion local groups have been invited to take part in the celebrations and our workshop is one of them! What an honour.
We have been busy working on a programme of varied tunes and are looking forward to giving it our best.
Our time slot is 12.20pm. Hope to see you there!
