Come and Try Event

Learning to play a musical instrument in adulthood has many benefits. Not only is it a great way to meet new friends but there is evidence to suggest it helps prevent dementia!

Strachur is the centre of Traditional Scottish Fiddle music teaching in Cowal and Lochgoilhead Fiddle Workshop @ Strachur is hosting a  ‘FREE’ Come and Try Session for beginners aged 16 years and over. No need to read music, we learn and play in the traditional style, by ear. We also have fiddles you can borrow. What are you waiting for?

If you have some playing experience and are thinking of taking it up again, your first lesson will be FREE.  Get in touch for details.
